These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SEC Filing PDF Generator Chrome extension, website, and PDF generation service (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, starting a trial, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is a document-formatting utility that converts a user-selected, publicly available SEC.gov filing page into a searchable PDF. Users choose the filing to convert, and the Service processes and delivers the requested digital file. The Service does not sell SEC data or provide physical goods.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and provide accurate information when using the Service. You are responsible for the SEC.gov URLs you submit, your use of generated PDFs, and maintaining access to the email address associated with your trial or subscription.
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, bypass access or usage controls, share paid access outside your own organization without permission, use automated requests that impose an unreasonable load, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights. The Service only accepts supported HTTPS SEC.gov filing URLs.
Eligible customers receive a 7-day free trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at USD $7.99 per month using the payment method provided at checkout. The exact trial end and billing date are shown during Stripe checkout. Each paid billing period renews automatically until canceled.
We may change pricing prospectively after reasonable notice. A price change does not retroactively change an amount already charged. Stripe processes payments; the Service does not store full payment-card details.
You may cancel at any time by emailing support@secpdf.xyz from the email address associated with the subscription. We will normally process and confirm cancellation within two business days. To avoid an upcoming renewal, submit the request at least two business days before the next billing date.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period, and access remains available until then. If a renewal is charged while a timely cancellation request is still awaiting processing, contact us and we will refund that renewal. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for complete conditions.
Subscription access is activated digitally after successful checkout or trial activation. Requested PDFs are generated on demand and made available for download when processing completes. Generation time varies with the filing's length, structure, external resources, SEC.gov availability, and system load. Generated server files are temporary and are scheduled for deletion after approximately one hour.
The Service depends on third-party services including SEC.gov, Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, and Stripe. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Filing text, tables, exhibits, and other source materials remain subject to any rights and notices applicable to those materials. We do not guarantee that every filing will render perfectly.
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. If we permanently discontinue the paid Service, we will address unused paid periods as required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We are not responsible for investment or other decisions made using a filing or generated PDF, changes made by a filing's issuer or SEC.gov, or losses caused by third-party outages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may limit or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks, or nonpayment. You remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation or termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. The updated date will appear above. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated when reasonably required.
Questions about these Terms, billing, or cancellation can be sent to support@secpdf.xyz or through the Support page.
