SEC Filing PDF Generator converts SEC.gov filing pages into searchable PDF files. This policy explains what information the extension and its PDF service handle.

Information we handle

• Email address: used to identify your trial or subscription entitlement.
• SEC filing URL and rendered filing content: sent to the PDF service only when you request PDF generation.
• Service and billing records: entitlement status and Stripe customer or subscription identifiers may be stored to manage access. The extension does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Local extension data: the extension may store your email, filing URL, and PDF job status in Chrome local storage so the task can be restored after the popup closes.

How information is used

Information is used only to verify access, generate and deliver the requested PDF, maintain the service, and handle billing. We do not sell user data or use SEC filing content for advertising.

Sharing and service providers

Requested filing data is transmitted to our PDF service at secpdf.xyz. Stripe processes subscription checkout and billing according to its own privacy policy. We do not share information with additional third parties except when necessary to provide the requested service, comply with law, or protect the service.

Retention and deletion

Generated PDF files are temporary and are scheduled for deletion after approximately one hour. Account and entitlement records are retained while needed to provide subscriptions and prevent abuse. You may request deletion of your account information by contacting support.

Security

Data sent between the extension and the service uses HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the service.
